What kind of cutting is this clipper best for?

Use it for skin fades, tapers, blending and bulk removal when you want strong cordless cutting with a cleaner modern charging set-up. The brushless rotary motor and Phaze blade combination makes it a serious all-round shop clipper rather than a single-purpose fade tool.

What motor does it run?

Inside is a brushless rotary motor running at approximately 7,000 strokes per minute. The main benefit is consistent cutting power through different sections of the haircut, especially when moving from blending into heavier bulk.

Can it be used corded and cordless?

You can use it corded or cordless, which makes it practical for both station work and mobile set-ups. Cordless gives you cleaner movement around the chair, while corded use keeps the clipper available when the battery is low.

How long does the battery last?

The lithium-ion battery gives up to 150 minutes of runtime. Charge time is not usable from the supplied data, so the best habit is to return it to the stand between clients and take advantage of the USB-C charging set-up.

What blade does it use?

You are working with the DLC Phaze Adjustable Blade, sized from 0000 to 0A. The DLC coating is the standout here because it gives the blade a harder-wearing finish suited to regular fade, taper and blending work.

What does the click or no-click lever mean?

The adjustable lever can be set up for click or no-click use. Click gives you set positions you can return to quickly, while no-click gives you smoother freehand control when you want to fine-tune a blend.

Can it be zero gapped?

Usable product data does not give a fully reliable zero-gap answer, so do not buy it assuming that is the main feature. Treat it as a close adjustable clipper with a Phaze blade, then check the official blade set-up instructions before making any tight adjustment.

What guards are included?

The included magnetic guards are #0, #1, #2, #3 and #4. In metric, that gives you 1.5 mm, 3 mm, 6 mm, 10 mm and 13 mm for structured clipper work and controlled bulk removal.

Do taper brackets apply to this clipper?

Taper brackets do not apply here because this clipper uses an adjustable lever and magnetic guards rather than a bracket-based blade system. Your blend control comes from the lever, the Phaze blade and the guard set.

What comes in the box?

The listed kit includes the clipper, interchangeable gold and black plus black and white covers, five magnetic guards, charging stand, USB-C cable, blade oil, cleaning brush and blade guard. The interchangeable covers are a nice touch, but the real working value is the stand, USB-C cable and magnetic guards.

How should I maintain it?

Brush hair out after each use and oil the blade regularly. DLC coating helps durability, but it does not replace basic maintenance, so keep the blade clean if you want it cutting smoothly through a full day.

What warranty does it come with in Australia?

It comes with a 2 year Australian warranty.

BarberCo ships to all areas of New Zealand via DHL Express. Freight costs are calculated at checkout based on the items in your order.

How does shipping work?

We ship Australia wide and to New Zealand.

We offer various delivery options in Australia for standard items which you can select when you checkout to complete your order. For bulky items such as furniture a fixed freight charge may apply. For bulky items the product will display any fixed price shipping charge and this will be added automatically to your order if applicable.

For orders over $350 there is a free freight option which can be selected when checking out. You can also choose express options for faster delivery. Note all prices include GST.

** We offer same day dispatch for orders received before 1:00pm on a normal business day only when Express Priority freight option is selected.** If Regular Delivery option is selected your order normally will be dispatched within 24-48 hours after placing your order.

We endeavor to carry all standard advertised items in stock, however if there are stock shortfalls preventing immediate dispatch of your order, we will contact you if there will be any extended delays to advise and offer options.

Australia

Our default couriers are TNT Express/Fedex and Australia Post. Once your order is consigned you should receive tracking details via email throughout the journey of your order to its destination. If you do not receive any notifications within a reasonable time of placing your order please email us at info@barberco.com.au quoting your order number to request a personal update.

1. Regular Delivery. For orders under $250 the following charges will apply:

              a. Order value up to $99.99 a charge of $11.95 will apply

              b. Order value $100.00 - $249.99 a charge of $15.95 will apply

              c. Order value $250.00 - $349.99 a charge of $17.95 will apply

Delivery timeframes are between 2 – 6 business days depending on your location. Allow extra time for remote locations.

2. Express Priority. For orders under $250.00 the following charges will apply:

              a. Order value up to - $99.99 a charge of $14.95 will apply

              b. Order value $100.00 - $249.99 a charge of $17.95 will apply

              c. Order value $250.00 - $349.99 a charge of $19.95 will apply

              d. Order value $350.00 and over a charge of $21.95 will apply

We reserve the right to recalculate and request extra charges if freight does not calculate within reasonable estimates for bulky items or dangerous goods especially to remote locations.

New Zealand

We ship to all areas in New Zealand. Freight is calculated at checkout and will depend on items purchased.

DHL Express is our chosen freight company. Typically freight times are between 2 – 7 business days depending on your location.

Note we cannot ship dangerous goods such as aerosols and some liquids to New Zealand. It is not cost effective to freight furniture to New Zealand, however we can provide sea freight options on application.

How soon will my order dispatch?

If you order and pay for your order before 1 pm (EST) on a business day and select Express Priority we will dispatch on the same business day, if we are unable to dispatch we will try and let you know ASAP by email. If you require your order by a certain day it is very helpful to us if you put this as a customer note when checking out.

Will I receive notification of my order and receive updates on delivery status?

Once your order is compete you will receive an instant confirmation of your order via email. Please check carefully and advise us of any issues.

You will receive notification once your order is packed and ready for dispatch. From there you should receive several notifications along the journey of your order with the final one being that the order has been delivered. Please advise us immediately if any issues or concerns or you haven’t received any notifications at all since you placed your order. Please also check spam or junk mail if no communications have been received.

Do I get a discount for ordering in bulk?

Yes! Many of our popular items have bulk discount. When you open up the page if the product has bulk pricing available it will show this and you can click on this to see what deals are available

How can I pay for my order?

You can pay via Visa or Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, AfterPay or direct deposit. If you select direct deposit you will be emailed an invoice with our bank details on the bottom. If you would like to pay by cash (if picking your parcel up) please select direct deposit as your payment method when checking out.

What is the minimum order quantity?

We don’t have one! If you only want to get a few items just to try us out then you can do that, no problem at all.

I am having trouble registering/checking out.

The most likely explanation is that your username is not unique. We recommend using your email address as this way you can guarantee you will be the only person who selects it, plus it is easier to remember! Otherwise occasionally there is a glitch if there is a browser issue with your computer.
