What kind of work does this combo cover?

This kit gives you a clipper for skin fades, tapers and general cutting, plus a trimmer for line-ups and detailing. It makes sense as a first shop setup, a mobile kit or a backup pair because both main cutting tools are covered in one box.

How do the motors perform?

Both tools run rotary motors, so the feel is smooth and steady rather than sharp and aggressive. That suits general barbering well, especially when you want predictable power across fades, tapers and detail work.

Can both tools be zero gapped?

Yes, the clipper and trimmer can both be zero gapped. Take care with the trimmer alignment in particular, because a zero gap trimmer is useful for sharp lines but can bite if the blade is pushed too far forward.

What blades come on the clipper and trimmer?

The clipper uses a fade blade with a shallow tooth cutter, while the trimmer uses a Black Diamond DLC blade with a deep tooth cutter. That gives the clipper a cleaner fading focus, while the trimmer has the bite needed for outlines and detail work.

Is this kit corded or cordless?

Both tools are cordless, so cord length does not apply to this tool type. In practice, that makes the set easier to use around the chair, especially when switching between clipper work and line-up work during the same service.

The clipper runs up to 240 minutes and charges in about 60 minutes. The trimmer also runs up to 240 minutes, with a charge time of around 120 minutes, so both tools have enough runtime for serious day-to-day use.

What charging setup does it use?

Charging is handled by Micro USB. It is not as premium as a dedicated stand system, but it is practical because the cables are easy to manage and simple to replace if needed.

What guards are included?

You get 5 magnetic clipper guards and 3 trimmer guards. The clipper guards cover the main fading and tapering work, while the trimmer guards give you a bit more control when detailing short areas instead of cutting straight blade-only.

What comes in the box?

How should I maintain both tools?

Brush both blades clean after each cut, disinfect them regularly and oil the blades so the cutters keep moving freely. Treat the trimmer with extra attention because detail blades show dirt, dryness and misalignment quickly in the finish.

How does shipping work?

We ship Australia wide and to New Zealand.

We offer various delivery options in Australia for standard items which you can select when you checkout to complete your order. For bulky items such as furniture a fixed freight charge may apply. For bulky items the product will display any fixed price shipping charge and this will be added automatically to your order if applicable.

For orders over $350 there is a free freight option which can be selected when checking out. You can also choose express options for faster delivery. Note all prices include GST.

** We offer same day dispatch for orders received before 1:00pm on a normal business day only when Express Priority freight option is selected.** If Regular Delivery option is selected your order normally will be dispatched within 24-48 hours after placing your order.

We endeavor to carry all standard advertised items in stock, however if there are stock shortfalls preventing immediate dispatch of your order, we will contact you if there will be any extended delays to advise and offer options.

Australia

Our default couriers are TNT Express/Fedex and Australia Post. Once your order is consigned you should receive tracking details via email throughout the journey of your order to its destination. If you do not receive any notifications within a reasonable time of placing your order please email us at info@barberco.com.au quoting your order number to request a personal update.

New Zealand

We ship to all areas in New Zealand. Freight is calculated at checkout and will depend on items purchased.

DHL Express is our chosen freight company. Typically freight times are between 2 – 7 business days depending on your location.

Note we cannot ship dangerous goods such as aerosols and some liquids to New Zealand. It is not cost effective to freight furniture to New Zealand, however we can provide sea freight options on application.

How soon will my order dispatch?

If you order and pay for your order before 1 pm (EST) on a business day and select Express Priority we will dispatch on the same business day, if we are unable to dispatch we will try and let you know ASAP by email. If you require your order by a certain day it is very helpful to us if you put this as a customer note when checking out.

Will I receive notification of my order and receive updates on delivery status?

Once your order is compete you will receive an instant confirmation of your order via email. Please check carefully and advise us of any issues.

You will receive notification once your order is packed and ready for dispatch. From there you should receive several notifications along the journey of your order with the final one being that the order has been delivered. Please advise us immediately if any issues or concerns or you haven’t received any notifications at all since you placed your order. Please also check spam or junk mail if no communications have been received.

How can I pay for my order?

You can pay via Visa or Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, AfterPay or direct deposit. If you select direct deposit you will be emailed an invoice with our bank details on the bottom. What is the minimum order quantity?

We don’t have one! If you only want to get a few items just to try us out then you can do that, no problem at all.
