What kind of cutting is this clipper best for?

Use it for skin fades, tapers, blending and bulk removal where you want one clipper with plenty of cutting power. The deep tooth cutter gives it good feed through thicker sections, while the Faper blade keeps it useful for blending work.

What motor does it run?

Inside is a super-torque rotary motor running at 7,200 strokes per minute. It has the drive you want for busy shop cutting, especially when moving through bulk without the clipper feeling like it is slowing down.

Can it be used corded and cordless?

You can use it corded or cordless, which makes it practical as a main station clipper. Cordless gives you clean movement around the chair, while corded use keeps it available if the battery runs low.

How long does the battery last?

The lithium-ion battery gives up to 180 minutes of runtime. A full charge takes about 60 minutes, so it has a strong runtime-to-charge balance for back-to-back cutting.

What blade does it use?

You are working with a Black Diamond Faper fixed blade and deep tooth cutting blade. The Black Diamond Carbon DLC finish is the working advantage here, giving the blade better durability and heat resistance during longer sessions.

Can it be zero gapped?

Yes, the blade system can be zero gapped. Set it carefully and check alignment before client use, because a close blade can irritate skin if it is pushed too far forward.

What guards are included?

The included guards cover #0, #1, #1.5, #2, #3, #4, #5 and #6. In metric, that gives you 1.5 mm, 3 mm, 4.8 mm, 6 mm, 10 mm, 13 mm, 16 mm and 19 mm for fades, tapers and longer clipper work.

What do the taper brackets do?

You get both standard and stretch taper brackets. The stretch bracket gives you more lever range for blending, while the standard bracket keeps the lever movement more familiar if you like a tighter adjustment path.

What comes in the box?

The listed kit includes the clipper, charging stand, USB charging cable, cleaning kit, mini screwdriver, interchangeable housing kits and taper levers. The screwdriver and lever options matter because this clipper is made to be adjusted and customised, not just used straight out of the box forever.

How should I maintain it?

Brush hair out after use and oil the blade regularly to keep the cutter moving cleanly. Check blade alignment from time to time, especially if you change levers, brackets or zero-gap the blade.

Does cord length matter on this model?

Cord length is not a useful spec here because this is primarily a cordless clipper with corded backup. What matters more in daily use is the 180 minute runtime, 60 minute charge time and the ability to run it plugged in if needed.

What warranty does it come with in Australia?

It comes with a 2 year Australian warranty.

BarberCo ships to all areas of New Zealand via DHL Express. Freight costs are calculated at checkout based on the items in your order.

How does shipping work?

We ship Australia wide and to New Zealand.

We offer various delivery options in Australia for standard items which you can select when you checkout to complete your order. For bulky items such as furniture a fixed freight charge may apply. For bulky items the product will display any fixed price shipping charge and this will be added automatically to your order if applicable.

For orders over $350 there is a free freight option which can be selected when checking out. You can also choose express options for faster delivery. Note all prices include GST.

** We offer same day dispatch for orders received before 1:00pm on a normal business day only when Express Priority freight option is selected.** If Regular Delivery option is selected your order normally will be dispatched within 24-48 hours after placing your order.

We endeavor to carry all standard advertised items in stock, however if there are stock shortfalls preventing immediate dispatch of your order, we will contact you if there will be any extended delays to advise and offer options.

Australia

Our default couriers are TNT Express/Fedex and Australia Post. Once your order is consigned you should receive tracking details via email throughout the journey of your order to its destination. If you do not receive any notifications within a reasonable time of placing your order please email us at info@barberco.com.au quoting your order number to request a personal update.

1. Regular Delivery. For orders under $250 the following charges will apply:

              a. Order value up to $99.99 a charge of $11.95 will apply

              b. Order value $100.00 - $249.99 a charge of $15.95 will apply

              c. Order value $250.00 - $349.99 a charge of $17.95 will apply

Delivery timeframes are between 2 – 6 business days depending on your location. Allow extra time for remote locations.

2. Express Priority. For orders under $250.00 the following charges will apply:

              a. Order value up to - $99.99 a charge of $14.95 will apply

              b. Order value $100.00 - $249.99 a charge of $17.95 will apply

              c. Order value $250.00 - $349.99 a charge of $19.95 will apply

              d. Order value $350.00 and over a charge of $21.95 will apply

Delivery timeframes are between 1 – 4 business days depending on your location. Allow extra time for remote locations.

We reserve the right to recalculate and request extra charges if freight does not calculate within reasonable estimates for bulky items or dangerous goods especially to remote locations.

New Zealand

We ship to all areas in New Zealand. Freight is calculated at checkout and will depend on items purchased.

DHL Express is our chosen freight company. Typically freight times are between 2 – 7 business days depending on your location.

Note we cannot ship dangerous goods such as aerosols and some liquids to New Zealand. It is not cost effective to freight furniture to New Zealand, however we can provide sea freight options on application.

How soon will my order dispatch?

If you order and pay for your order before 1 pm (EST) on a business day and select Express Priority we will dispatch on the same business day, if we are unable to dispatch we will try and let you know ASAP by email. If you require your order by a certain day it is very helpful to us if you put this as a customer note when checking out.

Will I receive notification of my order and receive updates on delivery status?

Once your order is compete you will receive an instant confirmation of your order via email. Please check carefully and advise us of any issues.

You will receive notification once your order is packed and ready for dispatch. From there you should receive several notifications along the journey of your order with the final one being that the order has been delivered. Please advise us immediately if any issues or concerns or you haven’t received any notifications at all since you placed your order. Please also check spam or junk mail if no communications have been received.

Do you offer wholesale pricing?

Do I get a discount for ordering in bulk?

Yes! Many of our popular items have bulk discount. When you open up the page if the product has bulk pricing available it will show this and you can click on this to see what deals are available

How can I pay for my order?

You can pay via Visa or Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, AfterPay or direct deposit. If you select direct deposit you will be emailed an invoice with our bank details on the bottom. If you would like to pay by cash (if picking your parcel up) please select direct deposit as your payment method when checking out.

What is the minimum order quantity?

We don’t have one! If you only want to get a few items just to try us out then you can do that, no problem at all.

I am having trouble registering/checking out.

The most likely explanation is that your username is not unique. We recommend using your email address as this way you can guarantee you will be the only person who selects it, plus it is easier to remember!
